History of construction
From the spring and Autumn period and Warring States period to the Song Dynasty, there were few people. The ancient road between Sichuan and Guizhou was a small one. Following the Tianli of Yuan Dynasty (1329), due to the need for renovation in the war, the north-south road was finalized. During the Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (1465-1488), merchants, travelers, caravan and so on had to pass "maoerya" and "shanghaiya" to and from Chongqing, which belonged to the Wujia of yelangli, hence the name of the hotel. In the 29th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1599), it was subordinate to Wuli Hotel, yelangli, Zunyi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. During the reign of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, Zunyi Prefecture was put under the jurisdiction of Guizhou. since the Republic of China, it belongs to Wubao Hotel Township, Tongzi County, Zunyi Prefecture, Guizhou Province. in 1950, after the liberation of Guizhou, a township was built as a hotel Township, which was under military control. In 1952, six townships were built, namely, Xiaoshui Township, arrowhead Township, huaiguo Township, wodang Township, Yanyan Township and hotel township. From 1955 to 1958, heyanyan and hotel were Hotel townships, huaiguosi and wodang were Tianping townships, and Xiaoshui and arrowhead were arrowhead communes. From 1959 to early 1964, arrow commune and hotel commune were merged into Songkan commune. From 1964 to 1992, arrow commune was separated from Songkan commune and established a hotel commune. In July 1980, the hotel commune was divided into hotel commune and Tianping commune. after 1984, it was changed into a township, which was followed until June 1992. in July 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Arrow township (under the jurisdiction of 9 villages), Tianping township (under the jurisdiction of 7 villages) and hotel township (under the jurisdiction of 11 villages) were merged into Tianping township (under the jurisdiction of 27 villages). In May 2012, Tianping township was officially renamed yaolongshan town.
