The North generation Township, which belongs to Wuqiang County, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, is located in the northern part of Wuqiang County, east of Wuqiang Town, South to Zhou Jia Wo Town, West and Sun Zhuang Township, and Xianxian County to the north, with an area of 80.85 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population was 31025.
In November 1949, it belonged to the Second District of Wuqiang county. Beidai township was established in 1953, belonging to the second district. In September 1958, it was the northern management area of Shengli people's commune. In May 1961, the Northern Dynasty commune was founded. In January 1984, it was changed to Beidai township. In January 1996, Shawa township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Beidai township has 35 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
