History of construction
Before the Qing Dynasty, it was Longshi Tusi, which was called Langdai lawsuit.
In the 18th year of Kangxi (1679), it was reduced to the total number of foreign contracted Tuqian, which was divided into two items, one for Langdai branch and the other for six branches. In the ninth year of Yongzheng reign (1731) of Qing Dynasty, Langdai hall was set up in Longshi's Langdai and Liuzhi's two Tu mu. The hall was located in Langdai, and the stone city was built.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Langdai hall was changed to Langdai County, which was the county government. In the sixth year of the Republic of China (1917), the Langdai judicial department of Guizhou Province was established, which was in charge of the trial of more than 20 counties. In 1932, Taiping town was established.
In 1952, it was renamed Chengguan Town, belonging to the first district of Langdai county.
In 1958, Langdai commune was established.
In 1984, Langdai commune was renamed Langdai Town, belonging to Langdai district.
In 1992, Langdai district was withdrawn and Langdai Town, Anle Township and Guizong Township were merged into Langdai town.
