Yuecheng town

Yuecheng town is the seat of Yuexi County, the economic, political and cultural center of the county, and the gathering place of people flow, logistics and capital flow. With an area of 28.7 square kilometers, the town has two residents' committees, 12 administrative villages and 83 natural groups.

On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of Puge county and other seven counties and towns (cfzm [2021] No. 1): Xishan Township and Hedong Township were abolished, and the administrative areas of former Xishan Township and former Hedong Township were put under the jurisdiction of Yuecheng town. Yuecheng Town People's government was stationed at No. 38 Xiyuan Road, Xicheng community.
