Xidawu Township, belonging to Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Pingshan County, bordering Pingshan Town in the East, huishe town in the south, Gangnan town in the West and Nandian town in the north, with an administrative area of 41.78 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 23931 households in West Da Hu Township had registered residence.

In 1949, xidawu Township belonged to huishe District of Pingshan County; in May 1964, xidawu and Tianxing commune merged into xidawu commune; in August 1984, it was changed into xidawu township. As of June 2020, xidawu township has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in xidawu village.

History of construction

In 1949, xidawu Township belonged to huishe District of Pingshan County.

In March 1954, mutual aid groups and agricultural production cooperatives (primary cooperatives) were established.

At the end of 1956, a senior agricultural production cooperative was established.

In 1958, xidawu commune was established.

In June 1961, it was divided into xidawu commune and Tianxing commune.

In May 1964, xidawu commune and Tianxing commune merged into xidawu commune.

In August 1984, it was changed to xidawu township.
