Shazhouba Town, subordinate to Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the western suburb of Ruijin City, adjacent to Xianghu town in the East, Wuyang town in the south, Yunshishan Township in the west, Jiubao town and Huangbai Township in the north. The town covers an area of 65 square kilometers, including 15900 mu of cultivated land, 65700 mu of mountain forest and 17800 mu of houses and roads. Historical evolution
In Ming Dynasty, Shazhouba belonged to Fuxiang.
From the Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the Republic of China, it was transferred to Changxiang.
After the establishment of the Provisional Central Government of the Soviet Republic of China in Ruijin in November 1931, Shazhouba was subordinate to Xiaxiao district.
In April 1933, the central party, government, army and mass organizations of the Soviet Republic of China moved from Yeping to Shazhouba.
In the winter of 1934, it was transferred to Xianghu district.
In August 1949, Ruijin was liberated and still belonged to Xianghu district.
In August 1957, Xianghu district was abolished, and Shazhouba was transformed into a township directly under Ruijin county.
In August 1958, Shazhouba and Zhangshu townships merged to form Shazhouba people's commune.
In October 1960, Shazhouba commune was divided into Shazhouba commune and Qibao commune.
In February 1963, Shazhouba and Qibao were merged into Shazhouba commune.

The origin of place names
Shazhouba has been under the jurisdiction of Ruijin county since it was established in the 11th year of Baoda University in the Southern Tang Dynasty. It is named after Shazhouba natural village. Therefore, there is a dry river dam in the area, and the river is sandy, so it is called Shazhou.

The former site of the Central Bureau of the Communist Party of China is located in Xiaxiao village, Shazhouba, Ruijin.
