Bowo Township
Bowo township is a township under the jurisdiction of Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, Liangshan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located in the northernmost part of Muli County. It faces Jiulong and Kangding counties across the river in the East and northeast. It is adjacent to Yajiang County in the north, Tangyang Township in the West and northwest, maidilong Township in the South and Southeast, and Shawan Township in the southwest.
General situation
Bowo township is located between 100 ° 57 '- 101 ° 12' e and 28 ° 38 '- 29 ° 10' n. It has jurisdiction over 3 administrative villages, 14 villager groups and 33 natural villages, inhabiting 5 ethnic groups, including Tibetan, Han, Miao, Yi and Mongolian, with a total of 1825 people (2017). Bowo township is one of the main producing areas of Tricholoma matsutake in Muli County, with an annual output of more than 50 tons. The third is water resources: bulingou, ajiang, Xihe, jialanggou, NiGa, shutougou, zhandugou, bonaigou and tianergou. They all flow into the Yalong River in the territory, and the Yalong river flows through three villages in the territory, which can develop large, medium and small power stations. Looking along the peak, it seems that the sky has been split in two, which is very spectacular. In the mountain peak, there is Nisa's "immortal cave", in which there are two ice pillars that have not melted for thousands of years. Only when the weather is hottest in June can they be surrounded. There is a huge glacier under the cliff layer, which can only be viewed from afar, but can not be reached. People with good eyesight can always see that the dragon is trapped in it, and the local people call it "Suolong cliff"; dingyang temple, the only "Huajiao" temple in the county, is located in its hometown, with more than 20 monks, which was expanded in 2004. The temple's prayer flags are flying, incense is exuberant, the main hall is resplendent, the evening drum and morning bell reverberate in the mountains, and the colorful murals tell the vicissitudes of the temple for thousands of years. In the temple, there are 14 exquisite stone carvings with a history of about 750 years, full lines and vivid Buddha statues, which embody the wisdom of the Tibetan people.

Bowo Township mainly produces corn, wheat and potato. Animal husbandry to cattle, yaks, goats, sheep, mules, horses, pigs. In 2006, the total cultivated land area was 2902 mu, and the agricultural output value was 1.43 million yuan, an increase of 113% over 1990; the per capita net income of farmers was 1643 yuan, the total grain output was 419 tons, and the per capita grain production was 237 kg. The grassland area is 31176 hectares, with 2859 livestock in stock, and the meat yield is 83.4 tons. The forest area of the township is 22017.8 hectares.
