Ninglang township is located in the southwest of the county, 219 kilometers away from the county. Muli Tibetan Autonomous County governs the township. Ninglang township was established in 1953, changed to commune in 1972, and restored to township in 1983. It covers an area of 607.9 square kilometers and has a population of 2000.
