Xuri Township
Xuri township is under the jurisdiction of Seda County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Xuri township is located in the southeast of the county, 63 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 165.09 square kilometers and has a population of 2468 (2017). It has jurisdiction over three village committees: zedengda, Renda and Sardi.
Historical evolution
Xuri township was set up in 1958; commune was changed in 1973; and township was restored in 1983.

Xuri Township Party committee and government was established in February 1960. The township is located in the northeast, 62 km away from the county, with an average altitude of 3200 meters. The total population of the township is 2468 (2017).
economic development
Xuri township is mainly engaged in animal husbandry, mainly raising yaks, sheep and goats. The territory is rich in fir, pine, plateau cedars. There are wild animals such as Swertia, deer, muntjac, golden monkey and Chinese herbal medicines such as Gentiana macrophylla, radix paeoniae rubra and dangsheng.
