Although the annual precipitation here is relatively large, due to the strong sunshine, the evaporation can reach three times of the precipitation. There is a saying to describe it like this: "guarding the water's edge also suffers from drought." In addition, there is a lack of electricity, sometimes three to four times a day, which makes the development of agriculture very difficult.
In Shiqu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an average altitude of 4500 meters, people all "turn pale when talking about stones" because of the harsh environment and conditions here. However, there is a "paradise" in Shiqu, where all kinds of fruit trees are planted like Jiangnan. This is luoxu Town, the "southern part of the Great Wall" of Shiqu.
Luoxu town is more than 70 kilometers away from Shiqu County, with an altitude of more than 3200 meters. There is the only wild Lycium barbarum forest in Sichuan, rape can grow to more than 1 meter high, and there are a variety of flowers, fruits and vegetables.
