On June 17, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Yajiang County and other 12 counties (cfzm [2020] No. 9): the administrative area of motong village in suoba township was put under the jurisdiction of Ashu Town, and the people's government of Ashu town was stationed at No. 1 gesarshang street, Zhenlong village.
