Ranke town

Ranke town is under the jurisdiction of Rangtang County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was established in 1964 and named Chengguan town. It was withdrawn in 1965. On December 6, 1970, Chengguan town was restored. In 1980, in order to avoid the same name, Chengguan town was changed to Ranke town. In December of the same year, the town people's government was established. It has jurisdiction over one residents' committee and four residents' groups, named after the word "Ke" in "zangtang" and the word "Ke" in "Duke".

On June 8, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province abolished Ranke town and gangmuda Township, and established gangmuda town. The administrative area of gangmuda town is the administrative area of original Ranke town and gangmuda township.
