Tanghekou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huairou District, Beijing, lies between 116 ° 29'29 ″ - 116 ° 45'01 ″ E and 40 ° 39'56 ″ - 40 ° 52'54 ″ n. Before 1949, Tanghekou belonged to Luanping county, Rehe province. In 1949, it belonged to the Sixth District of Sihai County, Chahar Province, and the district office was located in Tanghekou. From March to September 1951, Sihai county was stationed in Tanghekou. In September 1951, Sihai county was abolished as the 12th district of Luanping county. In June 1958, dongwanzi township was merged into Tanghekou township. In September 1958, it belonged to the iron and steel people's commune. As of October 2019, Tanghekou town has one community and 22 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Tanghekou village.
