Zhenping Township
Zhenping township is located in the south of Songpan County, bordering Mao County, 57 kilometers away from Songpan County, 2400 meters above sea level. The landform is dominated by high mountains and valleys. The vertical difference between high mountain villages and Pingba is about 500 meters. The highway line in the township is 17 kilometers long.
There are 7 administrative villages and 13 villager groups in the township. The area of cultivated land is 8120 mu, the area of returning farmland to forest is 2848.9 mu, the area of forest coverage is 76000 mu, and the area of grassland is 143000 mu. The average temperature is 7-8 ℃, sunshine duration is 1318 hours, accumulated temperature is 2500-3000 ℃, frost free period is 193 days, and annual precipitation is 530-630mm. economic development
The economic income of the township is mainly agriculture. It produces high-quality corn, white potato and pollution-free vegetables. The main varieties are asparagus, cabbage and sea pepper. The planting area of vegetables is 640 mu, with multiple cropping up to 1100 mu. The main agricultural and sideline products are Zanthoxylum bungeanum. The annual output of Zanthoxylum bungeanum is up to 10000 kg. Other agricultural products with economic income include rapeseed, white kidney bean, hyacinth bean and golden melon. Zhenping township is also rich in Chinese medicinal materials, such as Cordyceps, Fritillaria, qianghe, rhubarb, Angelica pubescens, etc.; in the wild collection industry, there are also rich fungi, mainly Morchella. animal husbandry is mainly feeding cattle, goats and pigs, with 3855 sold in the whole year.
