Liangbanqiao town
Liangbanqiao town belongs to Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the southeast of Anyue County, adjacent to Gaoping town and Tianshan township of Dazu County in Chongqing in the southeast, Baitasi Township in the south, gaowu Township in the West and Shiyang town in the north. Its total area is 49.17 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, liangbanqiao town has one community and eight administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of two Banqiao registered residence was 28113. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of liangbanqiao town was 3126.3 million yuan, and the total sales of social goods was 150000 yuan.
Historical evolution
In the old days, two boards were used as footbridges, so it got its name.
Xiantong township was set up in Qing Dynasty.
In 1949, Fuxing township was established.
In October 1958, the Township Reform commune was established.
In February 1981, it was renamed liangbanqiao commune.
In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
