Yingying town is subordinate to Yanjiang District, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the southwest of Yanjiang District, bordering Songtao town in the East, Fengyu town in the south, Yan township of Renshou County and Falun town of Zizhong County in the west, and Xiangfu town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14.9 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 7.4 km, with a total area of 74.93 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, the town has one community and 12 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 39724 people were registered in the registered residence. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture, industry and social goods of Yingrong town was 301.31 million yuan, 1.21 billion yuan and 2.08 million yuan respectively.
Historical evolution
In 1958, it was named after "meeting the climax of socialist construction".
Hexing township was set up in the Republic of China, belonging to the eighth guidance area.
In 1949, it was divided into three townships: Chongren, Sanhe and Qingbai.
In 1953, Chongren Township and Sanhe Township were merged into Yingying township.
In October 1955, Qingbai township was merged into Yingying township.
In 1958, the township changed into a commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1992, Yingying Township in Fengyu District, Huangtian Township and Gujing Township in Xiangfu district were merged into Yingying town.
