Wuhuang town is subordinate to Yanjiang District, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the southeast of Yanjiang District, connecting Xiaoyuan Town, Dongfeng Town and Kanjia town in the East, Shiling Town in the south, Qiuxi town in Zizhong County across the river in the West and Nanjin town in the north, with a total area of 77.1 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Wuhuang town has one community and 16 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Wu Huang Town was 55180. In October 1955, it was merged with Tongzhong Township, District 9, into Wuhuang District, with jurisdiction over Wushou, Dongfeng, Tongzhong, Changsheng, Shuangcha, Jindai, Shiling and Peide.
In December 1955, Wushou town was incorporated into Fu's hometown.
