Huibei Township
Huibei township is a township under the jurisdiction of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. Huibei township is located in the northeast of Qu county, along the Ba River. Population 8750 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 5 administrative villages and 35 villager groups. The township government is located in group 6 of Qingliang village, 31 (straight line) / 80 (highway mileage) kilometers away from the county.
Historical evolution
Before liberation, it belonged to Huidong township. In 1953, Huidong township was analyzed and Huibei township was set up. In 1958, it was changed into commune and in 1984, it was changed into township. In 1996, Shiyan, Ji'an, Qingliang, huopen, Lianhe, Yaozi, Lejiang and Jinji were administrated.
