Zhaogu town

Zhaogu town is subordinate to Dachuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the northwest of Dazhou City, 37km (20km) away from Dazhou city. It has a population of 14462 (2017) and an area of 47.8 square kilometers. The rural highway is connected with Dazhou (Sichuan) Guangyuan (yuan) highway, and connects Dazhou city through S202.

Evolution of organizational system

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chuihong township of suiding Prefecture. In 1935, it was established in xizhaojia Town, changed to Zhaogu Township in 1940, changed to commune in 1958, and resumed in 1984. In May 2015, the township was set up.
