Longtan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, is located in the northwest of the main urban area of Dazhou City, 19 kilometers away from the main urban area. It covers an area of 37.2 square kilometers and has a population of 10000. It governs nine village committees, namely Gaomiaozi, yupingzhai, Dongyue Temple, santaichang, digduanshan, shimiaozi, haitangxi, Hujiaping and daluoshan.
