Jingping Township
Jingping Township belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone in Linshui basin, Sichuan Province. The climate is affected by solar radiation, atmospheric circulation and topography. It has the characteristics of early spring, warm winter and hot summer, long frost free period, abundant rainfall, small wind, high humidity, more clouds, less sunshine and more continuous rain in autumn. The annual average temperature is 17.1 ℃ and the interannual variation of temperature is 1.2 ℃. The average annual precipitation is 1170.1 mm. The accumulated annual average sunshine hours is 1230.7 hours.
Jingping township was originally under the jurisdiction of Shiyong town. In December 2019, the Sichuan provincial government approved the administrative division adjustment of towns in Linshui County, and Linshui county carried out "township withdrawal and town merging",

Transportation
The towns often visited by rural democracy in Jingping include Shiyong Town, Fenghe town and Yuanshi town. At present (in 2020), there is only one passenger car (Jingping Shiyong) in Jingping Township, which leads to Shiyong town. Before, there were two passenger cars. The other one is from Jingping to Yuanshi, which passes through Lianghe town. Because of the small passenger volume, the passenger cars from Jingping to Yuanshi have been basically stopped. Jingping township was originally under the jurisdiction of Shiyong Town, which has convenient transportation, so the villagers have always maintained close contact with Shiyong town. The transportation mode for the people of Jingping township to other towns mainly includes taking motorcycles. Due to the barrier of Tongluo mountain, it is necessary to bypass Tongluo mountain from Jingping township to Linshui county. After the completion of G42 Lindian expressway, the time from Jingping township to Linshui county is shortened from the original 2 hours to the shortest 20 minutes.
The nearest airport to Jingping township is Chongqing Jiangbei Airport. Jingping township is about 110 kilometers away from Chongqing, and it takes at least one and a half hours to get to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport.
The railway stations near Jingping township are Guang'an station and Guang'an south station.
Infrastructure
In 2008, the G42 Lin Dian expressway was completed and opened to traffic. The Shanghai Chengdu Expressway passes through the southeast side of Jingping Town, which is about 500 meters east of the town
Jingping service area
In the service area, there are gas stations, charging piles (in Jingping service area of G42 Shanghai Chengdu expressway, there are 2 charging stations, a total of 8 charging piles, which are constructed by Sichuan Jiaotou new energy Co., Ltd. and State Grid Sichuan Province, < I > < / I >), restaurants, shops, public toilets, vehicle maintenance department and other facilities. Lindian expressway has no toll station in Jingping township. By 2020, Jingping township has basically realized village to village connection, and all households can be directly connected to the highway, so the transportation of villagers has realized great convenience.
Jingping reservoir, built in 1957, is located in Shijiu village, 5 towns, 19 villages and 170 groups. According to Wang Liangfu, director of Fengyuan water plant, a water plant (Fengyuan water plant) was built after finishing the renovation of Jingping reservoir in the upstream, with a daily water supply of 5000 cubic meters (in 2013), which can ensure the safe drinking water in Fenghe and Yuanshi towns in the downstream
In recent ten years, there have been oil exploration projects in Tizi village, Jingping township. At present (in 2020), due to the oil exploration reserves can not meet the demand of exploitation, it is in the stage of well filling and wastewater treatment.
In Tizi village of Jingping Township, there are traces of architecture left during the Anti Japanese War, Qigu cave. This cave is a man-made cave, which is located on the cliff at the junction of group 7 of Tizi village and group 5 of Jiaojiao village and dabutan village. Qigu cave is built on the cliff wall, which is hollowed out and divided into upper and lower layers. There are three openings on the upper layer, separated from each other. The lower layer is a huge hole, which can accommodate hundreds of people. It is said that this cave was built to resist foreign enemies during the Anti Japanese war. There is a shooting hole on the bottom wall of the cave. The function of the seven ancient caves is similar to that of a blockhouse. Due to the lack of access, the road to this place is full of thorns.
