Dongban township is under the jurisdiction of Yuechi County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. Dongban township was established in 1921, changed to dongban commune in 1958, renamed combat commune in 1966, restored to dongban commune in 1971, and restored to dongban Township in 1984.
