Shijing town is located in the middle of Rongwei mountains, 48 kilometers from Renshou County. It is connected with Lianjie town of Weiyuan County in the East, Changping village and Zhonghe village of Tiane town in the south, fossil village of Hejia town in the west, Baoning village of Shuangbao Township and LUOQUAN town of Zizhong County in the North. It is commonly known as shijingjiao three counties (Renshou County, Zizhong County and Weiyuan County). Hetian Road, the county road, passes through the territory. There are two town roads, one leading to LUOQUAN ancient town and the other to Lianjie town of Weiyuan County.

In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some townships in Renshou County of Meishan were adjusted, the Shijing town was abolished, and the administrative areas of the former Shijing town and the former Shuangbao Township were put under the jurisdiction of Hejia town. The people's Government of Hejia town was stationed at No. 189, Section 1, West street.

The main agricultural products are rice, corn, sweet potato and so on. Pig, silkworm and fish are the main breeding industries. Longzhu village is located in the northeast of Shijing town. It is a combination of Baiquan village and Longzhu village. It is adjacent to LUOQUAN ancient town in Zizhong County in the East, Qili Village in the south, Shuangbao Township in the north and Zhongling village in the West. the village governs 7 communities, with 1711 permanent residents and 598 permanent households. Regionalization adjustment

Railway transportation

The total length of Lianyungang WangYan railway is about 93.4 km, with an estimated investment of 4.46 billion yuan. Renshou section, which started construction at the end of October 2015, passes through 22 administrative villages in 6 townships including Shijing Town, Wangyang Town, Tian'e Town, tujiaxiang Town, Sigong town and SONGFENG Town, with 3 stations including Tian'e station, Jianshan station and Wangyang station. After completion, it will also be the first railway in the history of Renshou County.
