Muma town
Muma town is subordinate to Muma Town, Pengshan District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. It was established on January 18, 2008 by the merger of the former Muma Township and Fuhe township. The government is located in maojiadu. Muma town governs the five villages of Lianhua, Tiangong, Wuyang, Baihe and Guanting in the former Wuyang Township and the administrative area of maojiadu community. The people's Government of Muma town is located in Baihe Village.
In November 2017, Meishan proposed a high starting point and high standard planning and construction of "economic belt around Tianfu New Area" (that is, Meishan area of Tianfu New Area). According to the planning of Meishan economic belt around Tianfu new area, it covers 12 towns including Muma town.
In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some townships in Pengshan District of Meishan were adjusted. Muma town was abolished and Jinjiang town was established. The administrative area of Jinjiang town was the former Jinjiang Township and the former Muma town. The people's Government of Jinjiang town was stationed at 33 maojiadu street.
Historical evolution
Pengshan County was the land of Shu before 317 BC. In 316 BC, after the Qin Dynasty exterminated Shu, he immigrated to Shu, set up a county and set up Wuyang County, and ruled in Pingfu village, Jiangkou Town, Pengshan County. Since then, after the Western Han Dynasty, the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Southern Dynasty, the Western Wei Dynasty and the Northern Zhou Dynasty, it has been renamed Chengxian County, Lingshi County, Qianwei county and Longshan County. In 712, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty changed his name to Pengshan County because of Li Longji's taboo. Pengshan County was basically stable after the Sui Dynasty. During the period of the Republic of China, the county was "surrounded by 328 Li". After the founding of new China, there were only three minor adjustments in the county. In 2000, the county covers an area of 365.32 square kilometers, with a perimeter of 196.107 kilometers. In May of 1377, Pengshan County was merged into Meixian County (Meixian County in the ninth year of Hongwu). In 1380, Meixian County was upgraded to Meizhou, and Pengshan County was restored to Meizhou in November. This is the first provincial merger of Pengshan County. In 1662, Pengshan County was merged into Meizhou. Pengshan County was reestablished in 1728, which was the second provincial amalgamation of Pengshan County. during the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949), Pengshan County was successively subordinate to shangchuannan Road, Jianchang road and the fourth administrative supervision district. In January 1950, Pengshan County was under the jurisdiction of Meishan District of Western Sichuan. In early 1953, Meishan district was abolished and Pengshan County was under the jurisdiction of Leshan district. In April 1959, Pengshan County was merged into Meishan County (the third provincial merger of Pengshan County) and became Pengshan District of Meishan County. In November 1962, Pengshan County was restored to Leshan district. In 1968, the district was changed into a special district, and in May 1985, Leshan district was changed into Leshan City (a city under the jurisdiction of a province). The subordinate relationship of Pengshan County remained unchanged. In August 1997, the administrative division was adjusted and Pengshan County was under the jurisdiction of Meishan district.
