Duoyue town

Duoyue town is located in the northwest of Dongpo District, bordering Qionglai, Pujiang, Pengshan and other cities and counties respectively, and connecting with Qinjia, Shangyi, Yuexing and other towns in the district. It is the political, economic, cultural and business center in the northwest of Dongpo District, and also the shortest way from Meishan to Pujiang and other cities and counties. It is a combination of Duoyue town and Zhengjun Township, covering an area of 76.44 square kilometers. It has 12 administrative villages, 1 community residents committee, 99 villagers' groups and 3 residents' groups. The total population of the town is 32113 (2017), and the cultivated land area is 43350 mu. In 2004, the total grain output reached 26000 tons, and the per capita net income of farmers reached 8037 yuan in 2012.

On December 6, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Meishan City (cfzm [2019] No. 13): the administrative areas of Hongfeng village, Maqiao village, Songping village and Yili village in Qinjia town were put under the jurisdiction of Duoyue Town, and Duoyue Town People's Government was stationed at No. 68 Yingbin Road.

Duoyue town is 17 kilometers away from Meishan City, 13 kilometers away from Meishan entrance of Chengle expressway, and 3 kilometers away from Qionglai entrance of Chengya expressway.
