Liba town is located in the west of Jialing District, Nanchong City, at the junction of national highway 318 and Pengxi County, known as the "west gate" of Nanchong. It is 40 kilometers away from Jialing district government and 12 kilometers away from Pengxi County, covering an area of 20.76 square kilometers. It governs 10 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 55 communities and 9212 people (2017). It is a typical remote and developing town in Jialing district.

Development and construction

Facts have proved that only when we make decisions and formulate policies based on the will of the masses can we better mobilize the enthusiasm of the masses and promote the work more effectively. Two years ago, there was no cement road to the village in the town, and people's travel was basically "covered with dust on a sunny day and mud on a rainy day". The town has organized many people's livelihood visits with the theme of "leading members go to the grass-roots level and Party members and cadres go to their families", summarized and sorted out the problems reflected by the residents, and handed them over to the leading members and responsible units for serious handling. The mother and son of he Zefang and Zhu suming in the town's five villages are disabled and hard to take care of themselves. 2、 Stress "reality" and change the focus of work

First, vigorously promote the construction of village roads. Due to many historical contradictions, difficulty in financing and low enthusiasm of the masses, during the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, there were no cement roads in 10 administrative villages and 55 communities in the town, which were basically blocked by sunshine and rain, and the lag of village road construction directly restricted the local economic and social development. In order to effectively solve the above problems, the town has established the work style of "diligence" as the first, and strengthened the construction and management of the cadre team with mechanism innovation and system construction as the core.
