Sanmiao town
Sanmiao Town, subordinate to Hechuan District of Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Hechuan district. It borders Qingping town of wusheng County in Sichuan Province in the East, Gulou town in the southeast, Longxing town in the south, Longfeng town in the West and YANWO town in the north. It is 37 kilometers away from the people's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 85.4 square kilometers.
In the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (969), Sanmiao town was located in Heming Town, Hezhou County in the early Han Dynasty. In December 1993, Sanmiao town was built by merging Sanmiao Township and Sancha Township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in three temple towns was 53600. As of June 2020, Sanmiao town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Sanmiao town is located at 188 West Ring Road, Caishen Bay.
In 2018, there were 26 industrial enterprises in Sanmiao Town, including one above scale and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (969), it belonged to Heming town in the early Han Dynasty of Hezhou.
In 1728, it belonged to laisuli, Hezhou; in 1906, it belonged to Heming town.
In 1926, Sanmiao township was established, belonging to the seventh district.
In January 1956, Yonglong township was merged into Sanmiao township.
In September 1958, Sancha Township was merged into Sanmiao Township and Sanmiao commune was established.
In April 1959, Sancha commune was set up by Sanmiao commune.
In June 1968, Sanmiao commune was renamed Chunguang commune.
In February 1972, the original name of Sanmiao commune was restored.
In December 1983, Sanmiao commune was changed into Sanmiao township.
In December 1993, Sanmiao Township and Sancha Township merged to build Sanmiao town.

In June 2001, jiukuai, Wenmiao and Tugou villages under the jurisdiction of Fengshan Township were divided into Sanmiao town.
In October 2006, the five villages of Fushi, Xiangling, Datang, Fenghuang, Wanba and fengshanchang under the jurisdiction of YANWO town were designated as Sanmiao town.
In October 2010, Antang, Longwo village 2 and qijianchang of Gulou town were divided into Sanmiao town.
By the end of 2011, Sanmiao town had one community under its jurisdiction, including 16 administrative villages, including Baolong, Yuguan, Longwo, Antang, Fushi, Lingling, Dengtai, Daihua, Fenghuang, Fengshan, Qingmiao, Baihe, Renhe, Sancha, Shiyan and Jiaomiao, and 6 resident groups and 146 villager groups.
