Xinsheng Township
Xinsheng Township, belonging to Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is located 25.62 kilometers northeast of the county. It is connected with Ji hometown in the East, Fulong Township and Yuping Township in the south, Dingwen town in the West and Luocheng town in the north. In 2017, the area was 12.63 square kilometers, with 3611 permanent residents.
In 2015, Xinsheng Township governs 46 villager groups in 5 villages, including Xinchang, Baishan, Taiping, Xinjin and Hongqi, and 1 community and 2 resident groups in Xinchang.
In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Xinsheng Township and put the administrative region of Xinsheng Township under the jurisdiction of Dingwen town.
Evolution of organizational system
Xinshengchang was built in September 1903. It was named Xinchang because it was newly built.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was renamed xinshengchang with the idea of prosperity.
In 1933, when the township was established, it was named Xinsheng township.
After liberation, it was still Xinsheng Township, and Baishan village was designated. It was merged with the 10th, 11th and 12th guarantees designated by Guanyin to establish Tashui township.
In January 1955, Tashui township was abolished and Baishan village was zoned back to the township.
In September 1958, it was incorporated into Guanyin people's commune.
In July 1959, Xinsheng commune was established from Guanyin.
In 1984, it was restored to Xinsheng township.

In 2015, the total grain output of Xinsheng township was 3600 tons, and the per capita net income of farmers was 10800 yuan. The economy of Xinsheng township was dominated by forest and bamboo, animal husbandry and labor export.
In 2015, Xinsheng Township relied on Qianxing pig breeding professional cooperative of Qianwei County, based on small group and multi household breeding, with an annual deposit of more than 10 pigs and 20 large households, with an average income increase of more than 4000 yuan. Two large pig farmers with more than 150 pigs in the township have 18000 poultry on hand.
In 2015, there were 7120 mu of bamboo forest management, 2900 mu of reforestation, 8996 mu of natural forest management, 800 mu of Cinnamomum camphora and 580 mu of forest tending in Xinsheng township.
In 2015, Xinsheng Township developed 400 mu of Amomum villosum. Focusing on Xinjin, Hongqi and Xinchang villages, 530 mu of tea will be developed. Relying on the "really good" farm, 580 mu of pomelo, peach, walnut, plum and other characteristic fruits were newly developed. 450 mu of ginger will be developed.

One cultural activity square, one township health center, one farmer's market and one kindergarten are planned. The cultural activity square has been completed before the end of 2015.
traffic
In 1976, Luo (Cheng) Ji (JIA) highway was completed and opened to traffic. In 1983, Huang (JUE) Xin (Sheng) road was completed and opened to traffic, forming the north-south and east-west highway trunk lines. Since then, Xinsheng township has successively built the highway from the township government to each village group, realizing the road from village to village.
