Weishanzhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Daxing District, Beijing, is located in the central hinterland of Daxing District, between 116 ° 20'46 "~ 116 ° 29'10" E and 39 ° 35'48 "~ 39 ° 42'00" n. It is facing the central axis of South Beijing, adjacent to Qingyundian town and anding town in the East and Southeast, Lixian town in the south, pangezhuang town in the West and Huangcun town in the north. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Weishanzhuang area was under the inspection department of Lixian and Huangcun in Daxing County, shuntianfu. In 1949, it belonged to the first, third and fourth districts of Daxing County, Hebei Province. In 1958, Weishanzhuang township was built and stationed in Weishanzhuang village. On May 29, 1958, Daxing County was transformed into a district. In August 1958, Weishanzhuang township was transformed into the first people's commune in Daxing District. On September 7, 1958, it was transferred to anding people's commune. On January 7, 1960, Daxing County was restored. In April 1961, Anding commune was divided into anding commune, Lixian commune and Weishanzhuang commune. In March 1974, Weishanzhuang commune established Banbidian commune. In July 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In March 2000, Weishanzhuang Township and Banbidian Township were merged into Weishanzhuang town and settled in Weishanzhuang Village (moved to the west of Yanbao village in Southwest China in May 2002). On January 9, 2001, Daxing County was transformed into a district, and Weishanzhuang town belongs to Daxing District. By the end of 2018, Wei Shan town had 36161 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Weishanzhuang town has 39 administrative villages, and the town government is located in the west of Yanbao village, southwest of Weishanzhuang town.
