Hutiao town
Hutiao town is located on the Bank of Jialing River in the south of Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to Zhangjia and Xiangxi in the East, Chenjiang in the south, qingniu in the West and Ding in the north. It covers an area of 52.68 square kilometers. 8 villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 45 villager groups, with a total population of 7087 (2017), Han nationality.
The town people's government is located in hutiaoyi, 43.5km away from Zhaohua (Yuanba) district. Because there is a big reef like stool in the heart of Beijiang River, it is said that the immortal tiger leaps over the stool. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was called shuiyi, so it was named hutiaoyi, also known as maoertiao. (aerial photo in 2017)
On December 23, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in four counties (districts), including Qingchuan county (No. 26 [2019] of Sichuan provincial government): Chenjiang Township, Dingjia Township and Zhangjia Township were abolished, and the former Chenjiang Township, Dingjia community, yuluo village, Qinglong village, Huxi village, Duanqiao village, Dawu village, Shuangbai village and qingniu village were replaced The administrative area of Nanliu village is under the jurisdiction of Hutiao Town, whose people's government is located at 28 Xingfu road.
Historical evolution
Qing Dynasty belongs to Zhaohua County jiyangli (Bao). At the beginning of the Republic of China, Tiger Leaping troupe was set up. In 1933, yongningpu District of Jialing county was established, and it was under the jurisdiction of hutiaoyi Township Soviet. In 1935, the Tiger Leaping joint protection office was set up, belonging to the second district. In 1940, Hutiao joint insurance office was changed to Yubu town. In 1945, Hutiao town was changed to Hutiao Township, belonging to Hutiao district. In 1951, Xiangxi and zhangjiaxiang were set up in the East and northwest of Hutiao. In 1952, Dongyan and Zhujiang villages were designated as Aopan township. In 1953, Aopan township was withdrawn and Dongyan and Zhujiang villages were assigned to Hutiao township. In 1956, Chenjia, qingniu and Ma'an village of Huilong Township were merged into Hutiao township. In 1958, qingniu and Chenjia were separated from each other. In the same year, Hutiao town was changed into Hutiao town commune. In 1959, it was merged into Guangyuan County with Zhaohua county. In 1985, Hutiao town was built. In 1986, Weizi District Office of Shizhong District under Hutiao District Office was withdrawn. In 1992, Chenjiang, qingniu and Xiangxi were merged into Hutiao town. In 1995, it was divided into three townships: qingniu, Chenjiang and Xiangxi. in December 2019, Guangyuan Municipal People's government decided to abolish Chenjiang Township, Ding Township and Zhang Township, and put the administrative areas of Chenjiang Township, Dingjia community, yuluo village, Qinglong village, Huxi village and Duanqiao village, Dawu village, Shuangbai village and Nanliu village of qingniu Township under the jurisdiction of Hutiao town. Hutiao Town People's government is located at 28 Xingfu road.

economic development
Since 2005, Hutiao Town, Zhaohua (Yuanba) District, based on its own resource advantages, has made full use of and revitalized idle assets such as changyangsi grain station and Hutiao supply and marketing cooperative, cultivated large pig farmers and professional farms, which has become a strong momentum to drive the vigorous development of pig industry in the town. One large household with 500 adult pigs, two large households with 200 pigs, 10 large households with 100 pigs, 50 large households with 50 pigs, and three foreign owners have been introduced.
