Wudu town
Wudu town is the old county town of Jiangyou City, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is the hometown of Wang youmu, a pioneer of Marxism Leninism in Sichuan Province and the founder of Sichuan party and League organization. It is 15 kilometers away from Jiangyou City. It borders Yongsheng Town in the East, Taiping Town in the south, Dakang town in the West and Pingwu County in the north. The town covers an area of 145.32 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 2 communities, 14 neighborhood committees (Panzhihua Changgang) and 24 administrative villages. The total population is 43031 (2017), and the built-up area is 3.5 square kilometers.
On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): Changcheng street was cancelled, and the administrative areas of the former 28000 community, Linjiang community and Xiping community of Changcheng street were put under the jurisdiction of Wudu Town, and the people's Government of Wudu town was stationed at No. 25 Chengtang road.
On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Wudu town as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.

In January 2005, it was approved by the national development and Reform Commission as the "national development and reform pilot town".
Historical evolution
Deyang county was set up in YANMENBA in the 25th year of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Hanchang county (later Zhangming county) was moved from baisshashu (now the north of Xiangyin County in Hunan Province) to Qinglian town in the first year of emperor Taishi of the Jin Dynasty (265-274), Xiaoxiba town in the second year of Yongjia of Huaidi of the Western Jin Dynasty (307-313), and beiyinping county and Yinping County in the third year of Yongjia of Huaidi of the Western Jin Dynasty (397-401) In 505, Jiangyou county and Jiangyou county were set up in Nanba, Pingwu County, and Longzhou was set up in Yinping county. But Jiangyou county and Zhangming county have inherited it. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Jiangyou and Zhangming counties were still established. After 1958, it was merged into jiangzhang county and renamed Jiangyou County in May of the next year. In February 1988, the State Council approved the "guohan No. 29" document to abolish Jiangyou county and establish Jiangyou City.
The name of Jiangyou County follows the "Jiang Youshu" established by the Shu Han regime in 219, the 24th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty. According to Cao Xuejian of Ming Dynasty, the meaning of "Jiang You" means "Jiang Shui you". Because "you" and "you" are interlinked, later generations will write "Jiangyou" as "Jiangyou". Jiangyou county and county were built in the second year of Xuanwu emperor of Northern Wei Dynasty, that is, the fourth year of Tianjian emperor of Liang Dynasty (505). Xiahoudao, the Liang Dynasty's demoted general appointed by Emperor Xuanwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty, was the general of Pingnan and the governor of Yuzhou. He led his troops to Shu and occupied 14 counties of Liangzhou. Now Jiangyou county and Jiangyou county are set up in Nanba of Pingwu County.
In 508, Emperor Xuanwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty recovered the land and abolished Jiangyou county.
In the autumn of 553, the second year of the abolition of the emperor of the Western Wei Dynasty, the Western Wei Dynasty occupied Shu and restored Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Longzhou.
In 583, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty withdrew Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Longzhou. In 607, Longzhou was changed into Pingwu County, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Pingwu County. In 618, Emperor Gong of the Sui Dynasty changed Pingwu County into Longmen County, and then to xilongmen county.
In the reign of emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty (618-626), the name of xilongmen Prefecture, which belonged to Jiangyou County, was changed to xilongmen Prefecture. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), West Longmen Prefecture was changed into Longmen Prefecture. In 634, Emperor Taizong withdrew Pingwu County and moved to Jiangyou county. Jiangyou county was under the jurisdiction of Zhengzhou during the chuigong period (685-688). In 742, the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Jiangyou Prefecture was changed into Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Jiangyou county. In 757, Jiangyou county was renamed Yingling County; in 758, the first year of Qianyuan, Jiangyou county was renamed Longzhou.
In 1115, Longzhou was renamed Zhengzhou, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Zhengzhou. In 1131, the first year of Shaoxing, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhengzhou was renamed Longzhou, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Longzhou. In the sixth year of Baoku (1258), Jiangyou County moved to Yongcun village with Longzhou.
In the 22nd year of the reign of emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1285), Longzhou, a native of Jiangyou County, was withdrawn. In 1363, Emperor Shun of the Yuan Dynasty restored Jiangyou county to Xingjiao Town, which was subordinate to Xuanwei Department of Longzhou.
Ming Taizu Hongwu decade (1377), removed Jiangyou county people Zitong county. Hongwu 13 years (1380) to Xingjiao town for the rule, the restoration of Jiangyou County, under the sword state. In 1566, Jiangyou county was transferred to longan Prefecture.
In 1653, Jiangyou county was withdrawn and Pingwu County was established. Kangxi first year (1662) in Wudu town restoration Jiangyou County, Li longan.
In 2003, Jiangyou county was under the jurisdiction of Xichuan road.
From April to June of the 24th year of the Republic of China, when the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army was stationed in Jiangyou and Zhangming, the Soviet regimes of Jishi (stationed in Yanmen), Chonghua (stationed in Chonghua) and Zhangming (stationed in Zhangming) and the Soviet regime of Zhongba city were established.
In the 25th year of the Republic of China, Jiangyou county was subordinate to the fourteenth administrative supervision district of Sichuan Province (now in Jiange county).
On December 22, 1949, Jiangyou county was liberated and attached to the Jiange special zone.
In January 1950, Zhongba city was established in Zhongba town. Due to the lack of conditions for the construction of the city, it was rebuilt into the third district of Jiangyou county at the end of the month.

In September 1958, the organizational system of Chengtang Township, Yangting Township, Beicheng Township and Wudu town was abolished and the Hongqi people's commune of Jiangyou county was merged.
In March 1961, Hongqi commune was divided into three communes: Chengtang commune, Yangting commune and Beicheng commune. Chengtang people's commune was located in Jiefang Middle Street (old court) of wuduchang town. In January 1984, the communes of Chengtang and Yangting were abolished and the people's governments of Chengtang and Yangting townships were established.
On December 21, 1984, Chengtang and Yangting townships were abolished and Wudu town people's government was established.
In May 1985, he worked together with Wudu District Office to perform the functions of Wudu District Office (the former District Office governed Wudu town, Beicheng Township and Dakang township).
In April 1992, Wudu District Office was abolished, Wudu town was established, and Beicheng and Dakang Township were entrusted with the management of Wudu town.
In December 2001, Jiangyou Wudu tourism economic development zone was established according to the No. 49 document compiled and issued by Mian. It worked together with Wudu town and implemented the management system of "two brands and one team".

The cultivated land area is 2024 mu, and the per capita cultivated land of farmers is 0.67 mu.
