Fuyi town

Fuyi Town, formerly known as Fucun post, was set up here in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It got its name because of its rich geographical features and its proximity to the ancient post road leading to Langzhong. Yanting County is located in the northeast of Yanting County. Provincial Highway 101 passes through the county. It connects the south in the East, the county in the West and the Jiange in the north. Since the west, it has been an important post station of langzi and langzi. It is an active and prosperous market town. It is one of the first batch of important market towns in Sichuan Province. The total population of the town is 33426 (2017), and the cultivated land area is 40667 mu, including 9709 mu. The total income of rural economy is 71.4 million yuan.

On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some townships in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): Jin'an township was cancelled, and the administrative areas of former Jin'an Township and Wuliu village of Yongtai Township, Baoxi village and Jingwei village of shiniumiao Township were put under the jurisdiction of Fuyi Town, and the people's Government of Fuyi town was stationed at No. 24, the lower section of Fuyi road.

Geographical name

According to Yanting County annals:

Fuyi Town: it is located on Tangba highway 24 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. It is the seat of the former Fuyi District Office and the people's Government of Fuyi town. According to the annals of Nanbu County, Fuyi was originally named Fuxian Yi, but later it was renamed Fucun Yi. Because of its abundant geographical features, it was located near the ancient Yi, so it changed its name.

Fuming township: it is located 17 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. It was built as an impromptu field in the 37th year of the Republic of China. It was named fuming because it was the land of Yanting County in the Ming Dynasty and was returned to Yanting in the 37th year of the Republic of China.

Sancha: it is located 36 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. Around the 10th year of the Republic of China, it was Xingchang. Because the site is located at the confluence of Tujiang River and huapailou brook, it was named Sancha. In 1951, the name was used in Jianxiang.

Xiongguan: it is located 30 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. It was built in 1952. It was named because of the huanhou temple built in the past and the plaque inscribed "Weizhen Xiongguan".

Hualin Temple: it is located 32 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. It was built during the reign of emperor guangnian in the Qing Dynasty. It was named Hualin temple in the Tang Dynasty when it was built in 1951.

Jin'an: originally known as Jinfeng Township, it is located 38 kilometers northeast of Yanting County. It was named after the Jinfeng temple built in the Ming Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, the town was established in the 31th year of the Republic of China. In 1981, it was renamed Jin'an because of the establishment of jin'anpu in the Qing Dynasty.

Evolution of organizational system

Fuyi town belongs to Yongtai County in the Tang Dynasty, followed Yongtai County into Yanting County in the Yuan Dynasty, and lived in Nanbu County in the early Qing Dynasty.

In the early years of Qianlong, the county government office was set up in the town. Daoguang five years (AD 1825), set up a branch inspection department.

In 1935, Fuyi Lianbao office was set up in the third district of Nanbu county.
