Sangzao town

Sangzao town is located in the southern foot of Longmen Mountains, 25 kilometers away from the center of Anzhou District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 101 square kilometers. It governs 19 villages and 1 community, with a total population of 24572 (2017). With developed transportation, smooth water system and provincial road Chengqing road passing through the territory, it is a well-known "top ten town", civilized town and model town for comprehensive management of social security in Mianyang City. It has won the titles of national key town and national beautiful livable town.

Sangzao town has a long history and profound traditional culture. It has many historical and cultural heritages, such as Feiming temple, the site of ancient Qiang King City, xujiacheng, Hejia courtyard in the early Republic of China. The natural landscape of Sangzao town is unique, with the world's only late Triassic (about 230 million years ago) sponge reef, which is an important part of the sponge reef national geopark. Luofu Mountain scenic spot is located about 2 kilometers southwest of Sangzao Town, an County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is named after Luofu Mountain in the scenic area. Its geographical location is superior, the transportation is very convenient. It is close to Chengdu Mianyang Expressway and Baoji Chengdu Railway, and is connected with Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Beichuan apewang cave and Pingwu Baoen Temple golden tourist line. The annual average temperature is 160C, the highest is 320C in July, and the lowest is 30C in January. The annual average rainfall is 1230 mm and the frost free period is 290 days. The East, North and west of Luofu Mountain scenic spot flow, and the Chaping river flows from south-west to north-east, flows into the Anchang River in Anxian County, and the Anchang River flows into the Fujiang River in Mianyang. A large canal in Anxian County divides water from the Chaping River and flows around the foot of the mountain.
