Yimin Township

Yimin township is located 5 kilometers southeast of Hongge Town, Yanbian County, Sichuan Province, 30 kilometers away from the county seat and 28 kilometers away from bingcaogang, the center of Panzhihua City. It borders on Hongge Town, Xinmin Township and Xinjiu Township respectively. The lowest altitude of the township is 1160 meters and the highest altitude is 1428 meters. It is a dry hot valley climate of subtropical plateau type, with an annual minimum temperature of 4 ℃ and a maximum temperature of 39 ℃.

On December 13, 2019, Panzhihua Municipal People's government decided to abolish Yimin township.

The cultivated land area of the township is 15911 mu, and the per capita cultivated land area is 1.46 mu; the geological landform is unique, mainly paddy field, slope land, mountain dam and terrace, and the soil quality is mainly composed of wool sand, red clay, white eye sand and big soil mud. On the morning of August 31, 2008, all township cadres were divided into 10 earthquake relief working groups and went to 10 villages in the township.
