Lujia town
Lujia town is located in the west of Tuojiang River, Jianyang City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is 25 km away from Jianyang City and about 80 km away from Chengdu City. Lujia town was established in 1992 by the merger of Lujia Township and Yingming township. It is adjacent to Sancha Lake in the northwest and Ziyang City in the southeast, covering an area of 51.08 square kilometers. The territory has a mild climate, artesian irrigation and abundant rainfall. The town governs 13 villages and 150 communities, with rich labor resources, a total population of 24622 (2017), and cultivated land area of 37055 mu.
On April 1, 2017, Lujia town was entrusted to Chengdu high tech Zone by Jianyang City, Sichuan Province.
On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District in Chengdu (cfzm [2019] No. 24): the administrative areas of Xietang village, Pipa village, ganligou village, PANJIAGOU village, Wangjiaqiao village, sanqingmiao village, otang village, wanjiao village and yanjiaping village in Qingfeng Township were put under the jurisdiction of Lujia town Lujia Town People's government is located at 25 Nanhua street.

The government adheres to the idea of "stabilizing grain, adjusting structure, increasing income and striving for a well-off life" and vigorously develops agricultural industrialization, among which cotton production and live pig sales are at the forefront of the city. Mao Sufang and Wang Cuihua (deputy to the National People's Congress), who were awarded the title of "March 8th red flag bearer" by the central government in the 1970s, are all good cotton growers with a lint yield of 148 Jin per mu. The cotton yield of the town can reach 260 Jin per mu, and the number of live pigs can be more than 40000 per year, which effectively promotes the sustainable growth of rural economy. In addition to vigorously developing cotton production and pig slaughter, the town also planted a large number of famous, excellent, special and new varieties. At present, there are 1260 Rex Rabbit farmers in the town, and more than 50000 Rex rabbits are kept, including 120000 commercial rabbits, with an economic income of more than 1.2 million yuan. The whole town has realized the scientific and technological demonstration of farming system reform, with more than 6000 mu and 100% of the area of improved varieties. In the layout of modern agricultural areas, eight industrial economic belts have been built, namely, cotton industrial economic belt, high-quality fruit industrial economic belt, vegetable industrial economic belt, Rex Rabbit and high-quality meat rabbit economic belt, medicinal material industrial economic belt, high-quality sheep industrial economic belt, famous aquatic industrial economic belt, basically forming a pattern of one village, one product, one piece and continuous development.

On March 5, 2013, the reporter of West China Metropolis Daily learned from the development and Reform Bureau of Jianyang City that the location of Chengdu new airport has been initially determined in Lujia of Jianyang. On February 5, CAAC approved and agreed in principle to continue the preliminary work of the new airport construction on the basis of Lujia site of Jianyang City. Lujia town is located in the southwest of Jianyang, with a straight-line distance of 13 km from Jianyang City, 18 km from Ziyang City, 51 km from Tianfu Square and Shuangliu Airport in the center of Chengdu, and only 10 km from the boundary of Tianfu new area. the town is mainly characterized by shallow hills and wide valleys, with gentle terrain, a drop of 20-30 meters, a year-round fog free period of about 340 days, and few thunderstorm days. the construction of Chengdu new airport has always been concerned by all walks of life. According to the plan, the new airport is expected to be completed by the end of 2019 and put into operation in 2020. It is understood that the planned airfield level of Chengdu new airport is 4f, which will be seamlessly connected with Shuangliu Airport after completion. The planned construction projects include high-speed railway, subway, expressway and express passage. The new airport will build five runways one after another, with an annual passenger throughput of 90 million, more than twice that of Shuangliu Airport.
