history
In the 14th year of gengyuan (311 BC), King Huiwen of Qin Dynasty, Zhang Ruo, the governor of Shu, built a city in Linqiong. Up to now, he has been in charge of Prefecture, county, city, army, town and Taoism department for more than 2300 years. He was once the most important town in the west of Chengdu on the ancient Southern Silk Road. He has always been a regional political, economic and cultural center, known as "the first state from Tianfu to the South". As early as the Neolithic age, Qiong people were engaged in pig fishing and agricultural production, forming early farming settlements. Before the Kaiming family moved to Chengdu, the Southern Silk Road, known as shushenrong road in ancient times, already existed, and its West Road passed through Linqiong. Linqiong has been called fanshu since ancient times. As the first important town of the Southern Silk Road to Chengdu in the West and the important route between Sichuan and Yunnan, Linqiong people, who have lived and multiplied in Sichuan for more than 2000 years, have made important contributions to the Ba Shu civilization. In the Western Han Dynasty, sun Yetie, king of Zhuo, made money and became "the richest in the world", and Linqiong silk, the "Qiongzhou tribute" was given to the court. And through the Southern Silk Road, it is sold abroad. In Tang Dynasty, there was Qiong liquor "Zhuo Nu Shao Chun Nong Mei" and "Linqiong tea" was a treasure of tea. As the hometown of Chinese painted porcelain. It flourished in Jin Dynasty and flourished in Qiongyao of Tang and Song Dynasty. The firing of Qiong pottery products, modeling glaze are first-class. The reputation of "wine county", "tea town", "pottery capital" and "Silk City" has been widely spread since Han and Tang Dynasties.
In the spring of 882, the second year of the Tang Dynasty, yakuanqian in Qiongzhou was able to gather thousands of people to revolt. In 1632, the people of Linqiong carried out the struggle of "five beetles". In June of the third year of Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty (1911), there was a trend of road protection in Sichuan Province, and Linqiong people actively participated in the fight for "the right of way in Sichuan and Han Dynasties". In the winter of 1927, the special underground branch of the CPC was established in Chengguan. In the autumn and winter of 1928, the underground party organized secret peasant associations in suburban areas to oppose the Warlord's advance collection of grain. In 1934, armed struggle was organized and the fifth and fourth squadrons of the guerrilla brigade of the Red Army of workers and peasants in Sichuan and kangbian were established. In the autumn of 1949, the underground branch of the Communist Party of China (CPC) established the Linqiong brigade of the Sichuan kangbian people's guerrilla column. After that, he cooperated with the people's Liberation Army to eliminate the Kuomintang Li Wenbing regiment and quell the bandit rebellion.
Chengguan District was established after 1949, Chengguan town was changed in 1956, and Linqiong town was renamed in 1981.
The liberated people of Linqiong town participated in the "four major tasks" movement. After the land reform, the broad masses of farmers helped form agricultural production cooperatives and people's communes, and started to develop commune enterprises from the sideline industry. Since 1951, local people started to set up machine rice mills, and street enterprises for many years. The development of Yuxiang is tortuous and difficult. The spring breeze of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China blows to Linqiong, which sets the sail of reform. Township agriculture and rural areas have undergone tremendous and profound changes. By 2003, the total rural economic value of the town reached 290 million yuan. There are 6563 industrial and commercial enterprises in the town, with a total output value of 3 billion yuan and an industrial output value of 2.39 billion yuan.
In 2015, with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's government, it was agreed that Qionglai city should cancel Linqiong town and set up Linqiong sub district office, which governs the northern area of the original administrative region of Linqiong town. Linqiong sub district office is located at 136 Feihong Road.
