Yaoguantun Township, belonging to Cangxian County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Cangxian County, adjacent to litianmu Township in the East, xiaozhaozhuang Township and fengfengdian Township in Xinhua District of Cangzhou City in the south, Xiaowangzhuang town in Yunhe District of Cangzhou City in the west, Qingxian County across the canal in the northwest, Xingji town and xueguantun Township in the north. The Township People's government is 15 kilometers away from Cangxian people's government, with a total area of 70 square kilometers.
In 1950, Yao Guan Tun Village was in the nine district of Cangxian (stationed in Yao Guantun); in 1984, it was changed to Yao Guan Tun Xiang; in 1996, the village was incorporated into the village; as of the end of 2018, there were 37240 registered residence population in Yao Guan Tun Township, and 13 administrative villages in Yao Guan Tun township as of June 2020, and the Township People's Government in Yao Guan Tun Village.

History of construction
In 1950, yaoguantun township was located in nine districts of Cangxian county.
In 1955, Yao Guantun township was built.
In September 1958, the fifth Dongfeng commune of Cangxian county (located in yaoguantun) was established by merging yaoguantun and maluopo townships, which is the management area of yaoguantun.
In 1961, Yao Guantun commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed into yaoguantun township.
In 1996, maloupo township was incorporated into the city.
