Juyuan town

Juyuan town is an important town with a long history and rich cultural connotation in Hedong of Dujiangyan City. Juyuan town covers an area of 32.74 square kilometers. Historical evolution

In Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty, the ancient Daojiang county was located in today's Daojiang village. "Juyuan" got its name because it is located at the water diversion of zouma River and Xuyan River, which is the place where the source and flow gather. It is low-lying, where springs gather and flow continuously, so it is called "Juyuan"

Juyuanxin Bureau was set up in Xianfeng Period. Juyuanchang market was originally built in daojiangpu, 1km to the west of PU, named Xinchang. It was officially changed into juyuanchang in 1913.

Duan county was set up in Juyuan town in Yongnian of Shuhan in Three Kingdoms, and Panlong County, guanning county and Daojiang county were changed in Tang Dynasty. Yingxiang temple, one of the famous "four jungles" in Western Sichuan, was built in the Tang Dynasty, and Luofei pool, which covers an area of more than 1 mu, is nearby. It is said that Yang Yuhuan loved to play by the pool when he was a child. He accidentally fell into the pool. Later generations named the pool "Luofei pool".
