Huayuan Street

Huayuan street is located in the northeast of Xinjin District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, adjacent to Shengli town of Shuangliu district and Puxing street of Xinjin District in the East, Huaqiao street in the south, Xingyi town and Huaqiao street in the West and Huangshui town of Shuangliu District in the north. It is one of the 14 priority towns in Chengdu City. The east part of the street is the shallow hilly area of Muma mountain, and the rest is alluvial plain, belonging to Dujiangyan gravity irrigation area. Jinma River and Yangliu River pass through the territory with beautiful environment and rich products. Huayuan street used to be the back garden of the king of Shu in Ming Dynasty. Huayuan street is one of the 14 priority towns in Chengdu. It is 20km away from the urban area of Chengdu, 10km away from the center of Xinjin district and 10km away from the Southwest Airport. The town covers an area of 32.06 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 1 community with a population of 38404 (2017). The urban planning area is 12 square kilometers. The orientation of industrial development is: real estate, education and culture, sports and leisure, tourism, etc. As the bridgehead of Xinjin District into the city, Huayuan town aims to build an important part of the new town in the south of Chengdu and the regional center of Mumashan area. At present, there are two expressways, Chuanzang road and Dajian Road, which are directly connected to the city center.
