In 938 A.D., Liao state gained the sixteen prefectures of Yanyun and was promoted to Nanjing (also known as Yanjing). After that, Liao masters of all dynasties often went here to carry out fishing and hunting activities such as "releasing Uighurs and catching geese", which is called "chunnabo" in Liao language. In the state of Jin, since the emperor of Hailing changed Yanjing to the capital of central China in 1153 ad, the owners of Jin often led their servants to "hunt in the southern suburbs." The state of yuan is called "dismounting, flying and berthing" here. All the masters of Yuan Dynasty would come here at the turn of winter and spring to "fight with falcons in order to travel in Henan, which is called" flying " In 1414 ad, Zhu Di ordered to expand the area, build walls and open up four gates, "to the north of the Forbidden City, there is Haizi (now Jishuitan), so it is also called Nanhaizi." After the Qing Dynasty entered the pass, Nanhaizi was repaired as a royal garden, named "Nanyuan". In 1900, the Allied forces of the eight countries invaded the capital, and Nanyuan was plundered by the Allied forces of the eight countries. The last group of milu deer in China were also robbed by the invading forces. After the xinchou treaty was signed, in order to repay the war reparations, the Qing government set up an official property Bureau here to divide and sell the land. Nanyuan disintegrated, and then villages formed.
After 1912, Boxing area was under the jurisdiction of Nanyuan District of Beijing, with Luquan Township in the north and Sihai Township in the South (changed to Taihe Township in 1955), respectively governing dozens of villages such as Luquan village and Sihai village.
In 1928, the name of Beijing area was changed to Beiping special city.
In June 1930, Beiping special city was reduced to a city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the capital of the people's Republic of China was designated as Beiping and renamed as Beijing. After the re establishment of Beijing, the area of boxing was under the jurisdiction of Nanyuan District of Beijing.
In April 1958, with the approval of the State Council, Daxing County was rezoned to Beijing and renamed Daxing District. Meanwhile, Nanyuan district was abolished and five townships under its original jurisdiction, namely Jiugong, Hongxing, Luquan, Jinxing and Xihongmen, were rezoned to Daxing District. In June, the five townships of Jiugong, Hongxing, Luquan, Jinxing and Xihongmen were merged into the state-owned southern suburb farm of Beijing, implementing the dual leadership system of Daxing District and the Municipal Farm Bureau. In September, the Red Star people's commune of Daxing County was established in this area. At the same time, the farm system in the southern suburbs was retained, and the dual leadership system of Daxing District and Municipal Farm Bureau was still implemented. In January 1960, the organizational system of Daxing County was restored, and its subordinate relationship and administrative region remained unchanged. On August 11, Hongxing people's commune was officially named Hongxing China DPRK friendship people's commune. This area is under the jurisdiction of Luquan brigade and Taihe brigade under the commune, and also under the jurisdiction of Luquan branch and Taihe Branch of Nanjiao farm. In April 1983, Daxing County abolished the commune system and restored the township system. The northern part of the area is Luquan township area, and the southern part is Taihe Township area. The southern suburb farm still retains the appellation of "Luquan branch and Taihe Branch". In 1998, the southern suburb farm was abolished, and the appellation and organizational system of Luquan branch and Taihe Branch were abolished.
In 1991, Beijing municipal government planned to build Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone within the jurisdiction of Yizhuang Township and Luquan township to the west of Beijing Tianjin Tangshan Expressway and the east of Liangshui River. It started construction in 1992 and attracted foreign investment. On August 25, 1994, it was approved by the State Council as a national economic and Technological Development Zone, with an overall planning area of 46.8 square kilometers. Longshengchang, changzhuangzi and other villages to the east of Liangshui River in Luquan Township and daliangtai, Guangde and other villages in Yizhuang Township were first included in the scope of land acquisition and demolition in the development zone. Approved by the State Council on January 9, 2001, and approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government on March 2, 2001, Daxing County was abolished, Daxing District was established, and towns and townships were merged. The areas that were not included in the development zone at that time in Luquan Township and Yizhuang Township were merged and called "Yizhuang Town", while Taihe Township and Yinghai Township were merged and called "Yinghai town".
On January 5, 2007, the Beijing Municipal People's Government approved "Yizhuang new town planning (2005-2020)", which clearly pointed out that Yizhuang new town with Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone as the core functional area is one of the important nodes and key development new towns in the Eastern Development Zone of Beijing.
In 2010, the administrative resources of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and Daxing District were integrated and further expanded. Luquan village, west of Liangshui River in former Luquan Township, and sihaizhuang, north of Xinfeng River in former Taihe Township, were relocated to become Hexi District of Yizhuang new town. By 2012, there are 8 community neighborhood committees in Yizhuang new town, with a permanent resident population of 84500 and an industrial population of 280000.
In order to strengthen the construction of grassroots political power organizations in Yizhuang new town (Hehuang village Qingyuan area), Daxing District Party committee and district government started to set up sub district offices.
On November 15, 2014, Daxing District Party committee and government held the inaugural meeting of "boxing, Ronghua and Gaomidian sub district offices", and boxing sub district office was officially established. With the southwest of Yizhuang Town (Regional Office), the east of Yinghai town (Regional Office) and the west of Liangshui River as the jurisdiction area, it is divided into Hexi District and Ludong district (entrusted), with a total area of 24 square kilometers, and is the two wings of the core area of the Development Zone. Among them, Hexi District mainly includes Luquan village, Baoshan Village, No.1, No.5 and No.9 in the west of Liangshui River in Luquan Township and Sihai village, Haiyan village, Sihe village and Shaobing village in the north of Xinfeng River in Taihe Township.
