Zhaozhen Street

Zhaozhen street, located in Jintang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is the head of the Tuojiang River. It is the residence of Jintang County, about 30 kilometers away from Chengdu City. Zhaozhen street is adjacent to Sanxing town and Qixian Township in the East, huaikou town and Qingquan town in Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu City in the south, Chengxiang town and Yaodu town in Qingbaijiang District in the west, and Qingjiang town and Guancang town in the north. It is known as "Tianfu garden water city".

Evolution of organizational system

"After the Han Dynasty" records: in the Han Dynasty, Zhaozhen street was only a ferry, called Dadu Pavilion, where the official Pavilion length.

In the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Chang town was gradually formed. Chang town was named Zhaozhen street because of zhaojiadu. It is one of the four big towns in Central Sichuan.

In September 1952, Zhao town was established.

At the beginning of 2004, Zhaozhen was included in the first batch of national key towns.

In 2013, with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's government, Jintang County abolished Zhaozhen town and set up Zhaozhen sub district office, which governs the original administrative region of Zhaozhen town.
