Qiaozi Township, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the east of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, connecting zouma Township in the East, Sangzhe town in the south, Changsheng town in the West and Baojia town in the north, with a total area of 66.06 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Qiaozi township was established; in January 1984, it was changed from Qiaozi commune to Qiaozi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Qiao Zi Township was 11731. As of June 2020, Qiaozi township has five administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Hexinchang.

In the Qing Dynasty, Qiaozi township was established.
In February 1951, Taiping Township was established in the west of Qiaozi township.
In 1953, Qiaozi township was divided into three townships: Qiaozi, Hexin and Gaolong.
In January 1956, Hexin township was merged into Qiaozi township.
In 1958, Qiaozi township was changed into Qiaozi commune.
In June 1965, Gao long was incorporated into Qiaozi commune.
In January 1984, Qiaozi commune was changed into Qiaozi township.
