Longshe town
Longshe Town, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Baojia town in the East, Ping'an town in the south, Wulong District in the west, Ditang Township and Dudu township of Fengdu County in the north, 37 kilometers away from the government of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, with a total area of 160.36 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, longshe township was established; in March 2001, longshe Township and Putao Township merged to establish longshe town. By the end of 2018, the population of dragon shot town registered residence was 23101. As of June 2020, longshe town has one community, nine administrative villages and the people's Government of the town is located in Zhangjiaba.
The main food crops in longshe town are corn, rice, taro and potato, and miscellaneous grains; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle and poultry; the main industry is individual processing industry. In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in longshe town.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, longshe township was set up.
At the beginning of the first year of the Republic of China (1912), longshe township was divided into SHANGXIA longshe Township and SHANGXIA longshe township. In 1932, xialongshe township was divided into three townships: Ditang Township, longshe Township and Pingan township.
In January 1953, Dadi township was set up in the south of jielongshe Township, and Heping township was set up in the West and part of Putao township.
In January 1956, Dadi Township and Heping Township were merged into longshe township.
In February 1958, longshe township was changed into longshe commune.
In January 1984, longshe commune was changed into longshe township.
In March 2001, longshe Township and Putao Township merged to establish longshe town.
