Yudi Township

Yudi Township, subordinate to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, connecting Ganxi town and Mawang town in the southeast, Tushi Township in the South and Maoba Township in the northwest. At the beginning of Jiaqing Dynasty, Yudi area was Dongsi township; in November 1983, Yudi commune was changed into Yudi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the rural area was 12185. As of June 2020, Yudi village has four administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Xiayu village.

In October 1952, Yudi township was divided into Yudi Township, Xisha Township, paomu Township and Maoba Township, belonging to eight districts (Maoba).
