Liangxiang
Lianglang Township, which is subordinate to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering Tianguan Township in the East, Qingquan Township in the south, Siqu town of Yanhe County in Guizhou Province in the southwest, gongtan town in the northwest, 68 kilometers away from the government of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, with a total area of 72 square kilometers.
In 1941, Shangxiang and Xiaxiang merged into Liangxiang. In October 1958, Liangxiang was changed into Liangxiang commune. In January 1984, Liangxiang commune was changed into Liangxiang. By the end of 2018, the population of two villages had 12219 registered residence. As of June 2020, Liangxiang has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in group 2 of Jinyu village.
Rice and corn are the main food crops in Liangzhen Township, and bee, pig, sheep, cattle and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
The two villages were named after the merger of shanglongtan and xialongtan.
In 1941, Shangxiang and Xiaxiang merged.
In November 1949, Youyang County took over Liangyao Township, belonging to the Fourth District, and was stationed in Jinyu cave.
In 1952, it was changed to the 16th district, and in August of the same year, it was changed to the 12th district with the 16th district.
In September 1953, Langxi township was set up from Liangyao township.
In November 1955, Langxi township was abolished and merged into Liangyao township.
In October 1958, Liangyao township was changed into Liangyao commune.
In January 1984, Liangzhen commune was changed into Liangzhen township.

As of June 2020, Liangxiang has jurisdiction over six administrative villages: Jinyu village, Lanxi village, sanjiaotang village, Shimenkan village, neikou village and Hongyang village. The Township People's government is stationed in group 2 of Jinyu village.

Liangliao township has a subtropical monsoon climate; the annual average temperature is 18.7 ℃, the average temperature in January is 8 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 2 ℃ (January 21, 1982); the average temperature in July is 31 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 36 ℃ (August 26, 2006); the frost free period is about 300 days; the annual average precipitation is 1160 mm, and the rainfall is concentrated from May to September every year, with the most in September.

There are many small streams in Liangyao Township, including Jinyu River and jiutiaoxi. The largest river in Liangyao township is Jinyu River, which flows through groups 4 and 2 of Jinyu village and groups 3 and 4 of Hongyang village from bangou to Apeng River, with a length of 12 km, a drainage area of 28 square kilometers and an average annual runoff of 0.5 cubic meters per second. The main tributaries are jiutiaoxi.
