Huatian Township
Huatian Township, belonging to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the north of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County. It is adjacent to tianshanbao mountain range and Heishui town in the East, Taohuayuan street in the south, Tonggu town in the southwest, Cangling town and Shuangquan Township across longdongping prairie (Gepu prairie) in the west, and 25 kilometers away from the government of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County The total area is 79 square kilometers.
In 1951, Huatian Township and Huayuan Township were established in jiejiuyan Township and Hedong township; in September 2001, Huatian Township, Huayuan Township and Hongjing Township were merged into Huatian township. By the end of 2018, Huatian Township registered residence population was 10556. As of June 2020, Huatian township has jurisdiction over 6 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in 10 groups of Shengji village.

History of construction
In 1951, Huatian Township and Huayuan Township were set up in Jiuyan Township and Hedong township.
In October 1956, Huatian Township and Huayuan Township were changed into Huatian commune and Huayuan commune.
In 1963, Huatian commune was merged into Huayuan commune
In January 1982, Huayuan commune was divided into Huayuan Township and Huatian township.
In September 2001, some villages in Huatian Township, Huayuan Township and Hongjing Township were merged into Huatian township.
