Peishi Township, belonging to Wushan County, Chongqing, is located in the eastern edge of Wushan County, bordering Guandukou Town, Badong County, Hubei Province in the East, duping Township in the south, Baolong town in the west, and the Yangtze River in the north. It is 48 kilometers away from the residence of Wushan County government, with a total area of 51 square kilometers.
In 1948, Peishi Township belonged to the third district. In April 1984, Peishi commune was changed into Peishi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Pei Shi township was 8689. As of June 2020, Peishi village has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Peishi community town.
The main food crops in Peishi township are rice, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry; the main industry is organic fertilizer production.
