Baidi town
Baidi Town, subordinate to Fengjie County of Chongqing, is located in the east of Fengjie County, bordering on Caotang town in the East, Yangtze River in the south, Yong'an town in the West and Fenhe town in the north. It is 13.1km away from Fengjie County Government, with a total area of 103.58km2.
In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, Baidi town was located in Shuili on the north bank; in September 1992, Baidi Township and Qianjin Township were merged into Baidi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Bai Di town registered residence was 39641. As of June 2020, Baidi town has 2 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in group 2, Huanhua community, Baidi town.
The main food crops in Baidi town are rice, wheat, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry; the main industry is coal and shale mining. History of construction
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it belongs to Shuili on the north bank.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to dianhuaxi, Caotanghe, jingingba and other townships. Later, it belonged to Touzi, Xizi, Jizi and other townships in the second district.
In 1919, it belonged to Caotang, Dongxi and Jizi regiment. In 1930, it belonged to Touzi, Xizi, Jizi and other townships. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it belonged to the joint protection of the first district's head characters, stream characters and Ji characters. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it belonged to the joint protection of Dongtou, Dongxi and Jizi. In 1940, Caotang township was established.
In November 1958, Caotang township was changed into Caotang commune.
In October 1959, Caotang commune was renamed Baidi commune.
In October 1983, Baidi commune was changed into Baidi township.
In September 1992, Baidi and Qianjin were merged into Baidi town.

The town people's government is located in group 2 of Huanhua community in Baidi town.

The lowest point is located in Heishi of Qutang gorge, with an altitude of 135 meters.
