Bayang town
Bayang Town, subordinate to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Yunyang County and the North Bank of the Yangtze River. It is connected with Renhe street in the East, Xiaozhou town of Wanzhou District in the West and Ping'an town in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from the residence of Yunyang County Government, with a total area of 51.3 square kilometers.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, Bayang town belonged to Chongshan limugujia on the North Bank of Nanpu County; in October 1992, Bayang town was merged with Lianhua town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Ba Yang town was 17496. As of June 2020, Bayang town has one community, seven administrative villages, and the people's Government of Bayang town is stationed at No. 45, RONGSHU Road, group 8, Yangping village.

History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the ancient family of Chongshan Limu on the North Bank of Nanpu county.
In May 1935, it belonged to Zhuxi township.
In March 1952, Zhuyang township was established.
In January 1958, Bayang commune was established from Zhuyang township.
In May 1984, Bayang commune was changed into Bayang township.
In October 1992, Bayang Township and Lianhua Township merged to build Bayang town.
In October 1995, Lianhua township was established in Bayang town.
