Bashan Town, subordinate to Zhongxian County of Chongqing City, is located in the west of Zhongxian County, adjacent to Yongfeng town in the East, Dongjia town of Fengdu County in the south, Xinli Town and Huaqiao town in the west, and Maguan town in the north, with a total area of 156 square kilometers.

In 1730, Bashan town was under the jurisdiction of Zhongzhou Branch government; in May 1985, it was changed from Bashan township to Bashan town. History of construction

In 1730, Zhongzhou Branch was set up. Xuantong three years (1911), set up Bashan township.
